ONE SWEET STORY

"Exquisite chocolate doesn't just happen - it takes time, effort and lots of love"

Owner Darlynne Overbaugh has been making chocolate since she was eight years old. Taught basic skills by her mother, Darlynne continued to create confections through the years while learning new techniques, recipes and methods along the way. In February 2008, Darlynne took those skills and opened Life’s So Sweet Chocolates on Main Street in Trumansburg New York. What makes her company unique is its blend of classic candies and handmade chocolates with new flavor combinations and presentation techniques. Her creative confections include:

The Aztec Truffle - A rich dark cocoa ganache infused with a special blend of chili powders
FRESH Fruit & Chocolate - Using in-season local fruit is the key to the perfect blend of fruit and chocolate. Look for Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Cherries, Apples and even Kiwi! June-September and upon special request
New Creations Every Month - The Life's So Sweet staff are always listening to customers needs, wants and dreams. This gives us the opportunity to create a new flavor combination at least once a month - and its well worth the trip!
Chocolate Tastings - Similar to a wine tasting, a chocolate tasting allows you to savor and discover unique tastes while you learn a little about how things are made and the history behind them. Available in store Mid April through October and for special events year round.

Lavender Truffles - Our first white chocolate truffle is infused with real lavender for a sweet floral flavor.

Root Beer Float Truffles - Made with real local root beer, our first milk chocolate truffle is sweet and creamy from start to finish.

Knapp Loganberry Wine Truffles - A Life's So Sweet Exclusive, these dark chocolate truffles are made with Knapp's Loganberry Wine and are truly divine. For Adults 21 and over only.

Honeypot Truffles - Made with local honey from Waid's Honey Farm and infused with Cardamon.

Choco-Brownies - Fudgy brownies coated in mint, peanut butter, milk, dark and white chocolate.

Choco-Oreos - A classic treat available in mint, peanut butter, milk, dark and white chocolate.

Choco-Pretzels - A sweet and salty favorite. Available year round in peanut butter, milk, dark and white chocolate.
